Text Box: Scioto Lodge #6 will have its annual inspection Friday, January 7, 2005. In preparation for our annual inspection all officers with Grand Lodge of Ohio Codes must return them to the office of the secretary for updating with the Memo 2004 which contain the legislative changes adopted at the last Grand Lodge of Ohio Communication. This should be done not later than Tuesday, December 7, 2004. At the same time Combined Degree Rituals must be inspected for wear and determine if any need to be replaced. They will be returned but must be left in the office on the evening of the inspection. Chillicothe Commandery #8 By Law Change

Text Box: A change in the by laws of Chillicothe Commandery #8 was read at the October meeting. This change was directed by Grand Commandery Knights Templar of Ohio but must be processed according to customary rules. The change must be read at a stated meeting, lay over for thirty days and be voted on at the next stated Conclave. However, in this instance, notification requirement dictates that the issue be held over until the December stated Conclave. The change effects Article 7 and pertains to the office of Standard Bearer, Sword Bearer and Warder. Formerly each of these offices were elected positions. The Article will now read, “...Standard Bearer, Sword Bearer and Warder shall be appointed by the Commander…” This change will be voted on by all Sir Knights in attendance December 28, 2004.
