Text Box: Worshipful Brother Ralph W. Cyrus and the line of officers elected to serve Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. were installed in ceremonies November 11, 2006. The open installation was held at the Chillicothe Masonic Temple. Right Worshipful Brother David V. Medert served as the Installing Officer. Worshipful Brother Alvin DePugh was the Installing Marshall. Brother Gerald McCorkle served as the Installing Secretary. In addition to Worshipful Brother Cyrus, other officers installed to serve the lodge were Brother Dan M. Riddle as Senior Warden, Brother Paul K. Bennington as Junior Warden, Brother Corey B. Bennington Senior Deacon, Brother Larry A. Eyre Junior Deacon, Worshipful Brother William Bennett Secretary, Worshipful Brother William E. Landrum Treasurer, Worshipful Brother John R. Ashton Senior Steward, Brother Scottie Cyrus Junior Steward, Worshipful Brother John J. Vanek Chaplain, Brother Jay P. Morgan Tyler, Brother Gary Wheeler Lodge Education Officer. Worshipful Brother Michael Ash Trustee, 3 year term and Brother Kenny L. Graves Trustee, 1 year un-expired term of Worshipful Brother James Morris. A dinner was served in the fourth floor dining room prior to the open installation of officers. Some officers listed above were unable to attend the initial installation, and were installed at the stated meeting Thursday, November 16, 2006 by Worshipful Brother Alvin DePugh. Pictured at the right were some of the officers installed on the sixteen. Unfortunately pictures taken at the installation on November 11th were too dark and were unusable.

Past Masters’ Convocation
Text Box: Orient Lodge #321 will host the annual Past Masters’ Convocation Saturday, December 2, 2006. The day will begin with a breakfast at 8:00 and the Convocation will begin immediately thereafter. The District Deputies Grand Master will brief all in attendance on the Grand Master’s Program for the 2006—2007 Masonic year, information from the two day District Deputies Grand Master workshop, the 2007 Grand Master’s Class. All Master Masons are encouraged to attend and is required for all Worshipful Masters-elect.
