The Treslel Board

Text Box: Right Worshipful Brother R. Joseph Shilling extends congratulations to all nineteen lodges in the Seventh Masonic District for their attendance a the 197th Grand Communication of the Grand Lodge of Ohio. It is not frequent that all lodges are represented at the Grand Lodge’s annual meeting, largely due to schedule conflicts, illness or other causes. In a telephone conversation with Right Worshipful Brother Shilling he was delighted no telephone calls had to be made to Worshipful Masters or Secretaries in the Historic Seventh Masonic District for purposes of non-attendance. So—Congratulations!

Text Box: This Note from Ms. Lisa E. Donahue.
Thank you for inviting me to attend the Top Scholars Awards Banquet. I appreciate your acknowledgement of my scholastic achievement at Paint Valley High School. It was very thoughtful of the lodge to hold a banquet to honor top scholars in Ross County. Again, I thank you for your acknowledgement.

Note to our Widows:

It is a privilege for Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. to maintain contact with the widows of our departed Brethren, Companions and Sir Knights of the Chillicothe Masonic Bodies. We do this in several ways; by extending invitations to them for our banquets and various programs at the Chillicothe Masonic Temple, continued monthly newsletters, and greeting cards sent at Thanksgiving and Christmas which are mailed to their last address of record. However, when we get returned mail with “Moved left no address” we have no alternative but to removed names and addresses from our data base. Information is welcome from any source with respect to Masonic Widows who have relocated or is not receiving such mailing from the Chillicothe Masonic Bodies. You may convey this information by calling the Office of the Secretary at 740-774-3485, surface mail to Office of the Secretary 57 East Main Street Chillicothe, Ohio 45601 or email at sciotolodge6@horizonview.net

What is it about grandparents that is so lovely? I'd like to say that grandparents are God's gifts to children. And if they can but see, hear and feel what these people have to give, they can mature at a fast rate. ~Bill Cosby
