Text Box: The annual inspection of Scioto Lodge #6 is now history. So too is the fact one hundred twenty-one were registered for the event, which is the largest attendance at our inspection in the past eight years.
It is often a difficult to prepare dinner for an inspection, not really knowing what the attendance numbers are going to be so one had to project based on past years. Too frequently dinner is prepared for 100, and 50 people show up. The average attendance over the past seven years has been eighty. From a high of 101 in 2001 to a low of 50 in 1999. In view of these numbers we opted to prepare for 75 which seemed to work.
The breakdown on attendance reflected 64 of our own members and 58 guests, two of whom were from outside the district.
In attendance was Most Worshipful Brother H. Ray Evans, Past Grand Master of Masons in Ohio in 1992. along with several distinguished Masons from around the Historic Seventh Masonic District.
Worshipful Brother John R. Ashton presented 25 year pins to three brethren whose awards were due in earlier years. Worshipful Brother Gary E. Turley (2001) Brother Marvin R. Ramey (2002) and Brother William L. Haubeil (2003).

These brethren were raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason in 1980 when Worshipful Brother Richard Wardell Sr. was the presiding office of Scioto Lodge #6.
