Karnegis is the general chairman of the program. He observes that we can be confident in reaching our goal with every Commandery participating in the program. Further he says experience tells us that our perceptions define what we see and what we expect. Every Sir Knight should be proud of the work that is done through Knights Templar Eye Foundation

Text Box: A motion was made on the floor at the stated Assembly of Chillicothe Council #4 January 18th to enact the dues increase as recommended by the committee appointed to review the various options available.

Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters at the 175th Annual Assembly in Columbus, Ohio October 3-5, enacted a change to Section 37 of the code.
Excerpts from section 37.03 read: ”Each Constituent Council...shall pay annually to the Grand Council as Grand dues on all members in good standing at the close of the preceding fiscal year...ending May 31st, and on each member granted a demit during the year, the sum of eight dollars per member, effective June 1, 2005…”

This means Chillicothe Council #4, R. &. S.M. whose current annual dues is $7.00 will have an increase in its per capita from the current $4.00 to $8.00 per companion. As you can see the per capita increase amounts to more than our current dues. Discussion on the issue focused on the findings of the committee whose function it was to recommend the amount of dues increase that is to be adopted by Chillicothe Council #4. In order to remain solvent dues in the amount of $16.00 is the minimum recommended by the committee and would be effective June 1, 2005 for all members of record.
