Grand Master One Day Class
Text Box: The Trestle Board Text Box: Chillicothe Chapter #4 R.A.M. and Chillicothe Council #4 R. & S.M. both held their annual inspections Saturday, December 11, 2004. Twenty-nine companions and guests were in attendance for the Chillicothe Chapter #4 inspection. The Inspection was in the Most Excellent Master Degree. District Deputy Grand High Priest Keith O’Dell was the inspecting officer. Forty-three Companion and guests were on hand for the annual inspection of Chillicothe Council #4 R. & S.M. Past Most Illustrious Master Roger Gaul was the inspecting officer for the day. Also in attendance for the conferral of the Royal Master Degree, upon candidate Michael Howard, was Most Illustrious Grand Master Robert Rettig. After the conferral of the Royal Master Degree, PMIGM Gaul addressed the companions and Illustrious Master John R. Ashton. Past Most Illustrious Master Gaul presented Illustrious Master John R. Ashton with two certificates. One recognized Chillicothe Council #4 for not having any suspension for the past two years. The other certificate he presented read, in part “...for it’s outstanding effort to consistently publicize the activities of Cryptic Masonry to its members in printed communication” The certificate bore the signatures of Roger C. Gaul as Grand Master and Merlyn E. Meredith, Grand Recorder. Text Box: Chillicothe Chapter #4 R.A.M. & Council #4 R. & S.M. Inspection Text Box: A One Day Class will be held April 9, 2005. Each lodge will receive petitions and assign then to an investigative and ballot on each candidate in the usual manner. The candidate will be informed of the details of the scheduled Grand Master’s Class and explain the options of “traditional degree conferral,” the Grand Master’s Text Box: Class,” or a combination of the two for receiving the degrees.
