200th Anniversary Re-ConsecrationProgram

Text Box: The building will open at 10:00 am for visiting Master Masons, their ladies and non-Masonic guests. Refreshments will be served in the dining room on the 4th floor for your enjoyment preceding and following the days events. Inasmuch as the re-consecration ceremony will be a tiled lodge and, therefore, only open to Master Masons. Ms. Patricia Medert, a published author and historian will be presenting a program of interest to the ladies and guests of Master Masons attending.  

The program for the 200th Anniversary Re-Consecration will begin with the opening of Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. at 1:00 pm. Following the opening of the lodge by Worshipful Brother Haller, Right Worshipful Brother Bradford A. Goebel, Grand Marshal will be invited into the lodge followed with the entrance of Re-consecration Team made up of Grand Lodge of Ohio Officers. Most Worshipful Brother James M.  Williamson Grand Master will lead the Re-consecration Ceremony. Thirteen Past Masters of Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. will be expected to participate in the program. Those participating will be expected to stand for approximately fifteen minutes, If you are Past Master of Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. and wish to participate in the program call the Office of the Secretary at 774-3485 and place your name on the list which must be provided to Right Worshipful Brother Goebel. Those participants must meet as a group in the third floor lounge at 12:15 pm.   

Right Worshipful Brother Terry Posey, Grand Orator will present a brief history of Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. At the conclusion of the re-consecration ceremony Most Worshipful Brother Williamson will close the Grand Lodge of Ohio and Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. 

All attending Masons and their guest are invited to retire to the 4th floor dining room for a social and refreshments.

The Bible on the lodge altar, during the Re-consecration Ceremony, is an 1802 edition. It is the same Bible used by Scioto Lodge #2 F. & A. M. and the Chillicothe Masonic Bodies in 1805.  It was used by the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio at the forming of the Grand Lodge of Ohio in 1808.

Hope all is well with you and your family. All is good here. I have been off on disability with my knee for a year and will most likely stay off...such is live.
