Text Box: Twenty one ladies of our departed Brethren, Companions and Sir Knights were in attendance for the 2004 Chillicothe Masonic Bodies Ladies and Widows Night Banquet. The banquet was held Friday evening, May 14, 2004.
Serving as Master of Ceremonies, Worshipful Brother John R. Ashton welcomed everyone and invited them to join with him in recognizing our honored guests—the widows.
Brother Brad Burns and Brother Gene Miner prepared a dinner of baked steak, glazed carrots and mashed potatoes with gravy, cole slaw rolls, beverages and dessert. They were assisted in serving the fifty-nine attendees by brethren who readily volunteered their evening to make it a real success.
After dinner entertainment in the red room was provided by Ms. Rachel Martin and company in the Red Room. At the conclusion of the evening each widow was presented with a gift and card. Every lady in attendance was given a long stem carnation upon their departure.

Text Box: Visiting Councils as Grand Master this year has been a wonderful experience. Council Masons are so friendly and extend hospitality unsurpassed.
The Diabetic Kids need your help as we move into the final weeks of the current campaign. Please sponsor a project in May to raise funds and then invite a camper to a meeting in September to talk about the experience.
Let each Master Mason know about the advantages of York Rite membership and invite him to one of the York Rite Festivals this spring to witness excellent ritual work.
Be sure that every Mason who petitions a Chapter also petitions a Council at the same time. Chapter and Council Degrees are intertwined and he must have both to get the full story of Ancient Craft Masonry.
All Council members and their ladies are invited to join with the grand officers at a theater party July 10 in Chillicothe. A stirring outdoor drama, Tecumseh, will be preceded by dinner and a back-stage tour. (see story on front page).

Text Box: At the 2002 Grand Convocation, a committee was established to form the Grand Chapter Royal Arch Foundation. The formation of this Foundation continues to move forward. The Foundation has been incorporated as a non-profit corporation in the State of Ohio. The Trustees have met and adopted the by-laws and elected a slate of officers.

At the 2002 Grand Convocation along with the legislation empowering the committee to establish the foundation, the Adopt America Network was selected as the charity to be supported for at least three years. The Foundation will select future charities to be supported. At the last report, Royal Arch Masons have already contributed over $10,000.00 in general donations and fifteen of the thirty special edition plaques have been reserved which means that another $15,000.00 has been committed to the Foundation for the Adopt America Network and necessary Foundation expenses.

The Adopt America Network places "special needs" children who are waiting for homes with permanent adoptive parents, pays for home studies so that eager parents can afford to welcome children into their homes, and coordinates a national network of volunteer adoption specialists
