Text Box: From the Desk of the Secretary/Recorder: My apologies for the confusion in the 2008 dues collection process. Some envelopes were mailed with incorrect dues structure for Chillicothe Chapter #4 R.A.M. and Chillicothe Council #4 R. & S.M. The correct dues amount for Chapter is $10.00 and $16.00 for Council. Revision stickers were printed and pasted over the incorrect amounts, however some escaped my attention. Please bear with me until this situation gets ironed out. If you paid your dues using the incorrect information, I am processing your dues cards regardless, however, I am inserting a request with your 2008 dues cards that you submit the balance due at your earliest convenience so your check can be process in a timely manner. Thank you for your understanding and thoughtfulness as I get this matter cleared on the books.

Text Box: Mark your calendars!!!!!! Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. will be holding its annual Fish Fry on Friday, June 1, 2007 from 11:00 am—7:00 pm in the Yoctangee Park Lion Shelter. Dinners are $6.00 and Sandwiches are $3.00. Soft drinks and water are available for purchase. Drive up and delivery service is available. If you want to place an order on the day of the fish fry call 649-1815 and we will deliver your order. Tickets were mailed to members of Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. and many have responded generously. For that we thank you. Brother Harley Thomas and Brother Kenny L. Graves are working tirelessly at the direction of Worshipful Master Ralph W. Cyrus to get things arranged for the busy day that lays ahead. Wives of members who wish to help are most welcome. Come spend the day together in the park for a good cause. Proceeds benefit Masonic Charities/Scholarship Fund.

Text Box: Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. and the Chillicothe York Rite Bodies took action during the month of May to engage Ross Computer Services as the agent with whom we will back up our databases offsite. The remote backup offers many benefits over traditional backup methods. The integrity of traditional backup medias (tapes, cd’s, external hdd’s) may become unreliable over time. Often users do not realize this until date retrieval is attempted. With the secure remote backup the media is on a constant basis with integrity checking and redundancy built into the servers. Remote backup also removes the danger of a catastrophic event that might destroy the system. The Office of the Secretary will schedule backups on the 20th of each month for the purpose of regularity. We will be purchasing 1GB total storage capacity.

Text Box: For the convenience of the Brethren, Companions and Sir Knights of the Chillicothe York Rite Bodies, the hours of operation for the Office of the Secretary are 10:00 am—2:00 pm. However, the secretary may be delayed on arriving at the office so, for purposes of ensuring the secretary is on site, call before arriving at the office. For other business you can make an appointment for a specific day and time.

Text Box: There are sixty-one brethren of Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. whose 2007 dues remain unpaid. Fourteen are at risk of being suspended for non-payment of dues. If your dues card doesn’t indicate 2007 you need to send your dues in the amount of $30.00 ASAP. Suspensions will take place with the monthly activity report dated June 30, 2007. We do not want to suspend anyone who had merely overlooked the obvious.
