Text Box: Mr. Richard F. Bebee will be the principle guest speaker at the annual 2005 Top Scholars’ Banquet Monday, May 9, 2005.  Brother Dan M. Riddle and Worshipful Brother William Bennett will co-chair the event.
Top scholars from throughout Ross County schools have been invited as well as Superintendents, Principles, Guidance Counselors.
Richard F. Bebee has been the Dean at Ohio University-Chillicothe since 2001. Prior to Ohio University, he was Dean of the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University for 10 years, was Associate Dean and Accounting Department chair at Old Dominion University, and Professor of Accounting at DePaul University and Miami University. 

Degrees earned by Dr. Bebee include a Bachelor of Arts in business at Anderson University in 1965, a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting at Indiana University in 1967, and a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Colorado in 1971. He is also a CPA in Virginia and Ohio. Dr. Bebee has published books and numerous articles. His academic and professional interests have focused on various facets of taxation, especially the relationship of taxation to national policy. As a strong advocate of partnerships between the university and both public and private sector organizations, he has been instrumental in the creation of numerous organizations and has been active in many professional and civic organizations: Ross County Major Employers Monthly Round Table, has been a member of the Finance Committee of Adena Medical, Vice-chair of United Way, and chair of March of Dimes Walk America. He served the AACSB – The International Association for Management Education – as a member of the Candidacy Committee and the AACSB Performance Indicators Task Force.
