Text Box: Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. will again host its annual Veterans’ Night Appreciation Banquet on Thursday, November 9, 2006 at 6:30 pm.  The menu will be baked steak, scalloped potatoes, seasoned green beans, rolls, dessert, and beverage. The dinner will be in the fourth floor dinning room. Reservations should be made by November 7, 2006.  A special invitation is extended to all Master Masons, veterans and widows of our deceased brethren. Come prepared for a good meal and a great speaker.

The eighth-graders will be presenting Shakespeare's Hamlet in the Church basement Friday at 7 PM. The congregation is invited to attend this tragedy. 

Weight Watchers will meet at 7 PM at the First Presbyterian Church. Please use large double door at the side entrance. 

The Associate Minister unveiled the church's new tithing campaign slogan last Sunday: "I Upped My Pledge - Up Yours."

Text Box: Annual Meeting of Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. 
Text Box: The annual meeting of Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2006.  A light dinner will be served prior to the meeting at 6:30 pm with the Lodge of Master Mason opening at 7:30 pm.  This is the meeting at which the election of officers will take place. No degree work will be conferred due to the range of business to be transacted.  All Master Masons are invited to attend and participate in the meeting.  This meeting will also signal the beginning of the 201st year of Masonry in Chillicothe which began November 22, 1805. 
If you are interested in serving the progressive line please let Worshipful Master Michael B. Haller know. Offices to be filled are Worshipful Master, Senior and Junior Warden, Senior and Junior Deacon, Treasurer, Secretary, Tyler and Trustee. The appointed chairs, which are  made by the incoming Worshipful Master, are Chaplain, Junior and Senior Steward, and Lodge Education Officer. A loose leaf binder is available in the office which outlines the duties of each office.

The Grand Council has surpassed its goal in contributions to the Diabetic Kids Fund. The Third and Seventh Aches led. Enroll in the Leadership Resource Course and become better skilled in Council Masonry. All Arch Adjutants have applications.

You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services. How amazing it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! This is a great site. Please send a card. It is free and it only takes a second. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know we are behind them.
