Text Box: Grand York Rite Bodies to Meet Text Box: The Trestle Board Text Box: November 22, 1805 is a noted moment in time in the history of Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. in Chillicothe, Ohio. It was on this date the records indicate, At a meeting of the majority of the Brethren of Scioto Lodge #2, under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of the State of Massachusetts, at the home of Thomas Needham in Chillicothe, Ohio, November 22, 1805, that the following Brothers were elected to office: Brother Thomas Gibson Worshipful Master, Brother Jervis Cutler Senior Warden and Brother Nathaniel Willis Junior Warden. This was attested to by Brother Joseph Dix Secretary pro tem. Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. will observe this historic event by hosting its annual installation of officers, Tuesday, November 22, 2005. Dinner will be served beginning at 6:00 pm in the fourth floor dining room which will seat 130. Attendance at the dinner is by reservation only and are required by November 15, 2005. If you ONLY wish to attend the Installation of Officers, then you do not need to make reservations Tickets for the dinner may be obtained at the Office of the Secretary Mondays and Tuesdays between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. You may request tickets by mail using the order form on page 4 however, you must send a self address and stamped envelope when ordering. Tickets are on a first come first serve basis. Invitations were mailed September 12, 2005 to all Grand Lodge of Ohio Officers, The Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, Past District Deputies Grand Master, District Deputies Grand Master, Worshipful Masters and Secretaries of all lodges in the Historic Seventh Masonic District. Special displays of historical artifacts and memorabilia are planned throughout the 2005—2006 Masonic year. Mrs. Patricia Medert, mother of Right Worshipful Brother David V. Medert and a noted Ross County historian, will be active in assisting in the efforts to promote the Text Box: Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. Hosting 200th Anniversary Celebration in 2005—2006 Text Box: The 176th Annual Assembly of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masons will be held October 2, 3, and 4, 2005 in the colorful French Quarter Holiday Inn in Perrysburg, Ohio. Registration will be open Sunday October 2nd from 3:00 to 8:00 pm The Grand Session of The Grand Chapter R.A. M. of Ohio will be held at the Holiday Inn Roberts Convention Centre in Wilmington, Ohio October 4, 5 and 6, 2005. Registration for Companions will be Tuesday from 2:00 to 7:00 pm and on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 am. The 163rd Annual Conclave of the Grand Commandery Knights Templar of Ohio will be held October 6, 7 and 8, 2005. The headquarters hotel will be the Columbus Hotel, formerly the Adams Mark, .
