With no objections the representatives unanimously elected the proposed slate and they were installed by Right Worshipful Brother Newman.
Text Box: Current plans for the 2007 year will include a Grand Master’s One Day Class to be held March 31, 2007. Overall director for the event to be held in the Seventh Masonic District will be under the leadership of Right Worshipful Brother Robert K. Brown. He announced at the Seventh Masonic District Association’s September meeting that plans are coming together for the one day class to be held in Pike County with details still to be refined.  Details will be released as they become available. Degree team leadership will be coordinated by Right Worshipful Brother Terry Moore, Right Worshipful Brother Les Daniels and Right Worshipful Brother Jerry Shupert.

Grand Master’s Reception

Text Box: Newly elected, and installed, President Jasper Jordan indicated plans were now being formulated to secure a location for the Seventh Masonic District’s hosting of the 2007 Grand Master’s Reception.  He announced that plans are under consideration to host the event at the Wheelersburg High School.  However, he noted this year’s event is schedule for Friday, February 23, 2007 and that may be a problem for arranging for this particular location.  Wheelersburg is a big basketball power and the gym may not be available for that evening.  A back up location is being considered in the event the high school gym is not available.  Worshipful Brother Jordan indicated he would have more solid information at the Past Masters’ Convocation December 2, 2006.

Past Masters’ Convocation

Text Box: Orient Lodge #321 in Waverly, Ohio will be hosting the Past Masters’ Convocation, Saturday, December 2, 2006 beginning at 8:00 am with a continental breakfast.  The lodge of Past Masters’ will open immediately at 8:30 am. All Worshipful Masters-Elect are required, without exception, to attend this meeting. The meeting will be under the direction of the District Deputies Grand Master of the Seventh Masonic District, who will present the Grand Master’s Program for 2007. One guideline that is different, is the Lecture of the Degree for the inspection MUST be given by an elected officer of the progressive line.
