Text Box: Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. will host its annual Past Masters’ Night observance Tuesday, October 2, 2007. Refreshments will be served prior to the opening of lodge in the dining room on the third floor. A communication was sent to all Past Masters of Scioto Lodge #6 F. & A. M. on the 18th of September inviting them to attend. Right Worshipful Brother David V. Medert, Worshipful Master in 2000 and 2001, will be presiding in the East. The conferral of the Fellow Craft is slated for the evening. Any Past Master, or line officer who served in the line and desires to participate, may pick up a copy of the ritual at the Office of the Secretary. Right Worshipful Brother Medert is making arrangements to fill the respective chairs and will be in contact with those who will be doing the degree work. One of the reasons for scheduling Past Masters’ Night on the first stated meeting in October is that the Annual Convocation of the Grand Lodge of Ohio is slated for October 19—20, 2007. Right Worshipful Brother Medert is on a Grand Lodge of Ohio committee and will not be available for the third Thursday. Text Box: Past Masters’ Night Set Text Box: The Seventh Masonic District Association held its annual meeting Saturday, September 15, 2007 at Western Sun Lodge #91 in Wheelersburg, Ohio. The brethren were treated to beans and cornbread with enough variety of desserts to fit a king. Several items of business was handled among them the election of officers for the 2007-2008 year. Worshipful Brother Robert Junk President, Worshipful Brother John R. Ashton, 1st Vice President, Worshipful Brother Jeffrey Hudson, 2nd Vice President and Right Worshipful Brother Jerry Shupert Secretary/Treasurer. Right Worshipful Brother Gerald Newman installed the officers of the Seventh Masonic District Association during an informal ceremony.
