Text Box: Members of the Chillicothe York Rite Bodies discussed plans to host a one-day York Rite Festival in 2006. They eventually settled on September 9, 2006. However, according to recent information supplied to this writer, any plans to host such an event will be held in the spring of 2007, following a proposed one-day Grand Master’s class. It was suggested that Chapter and Council degrees, as well as the Commandery Orders, will be held on the district level. This means the leadership of the Fifth Capitular District, the Sixth Arch and Fourth Division will coordinate any one-day class for the conferral of all degrees and orders. Plans will be announced well in advance for those interested in obtaining their York Rite.
